So i was at Ridgefield Park's 4th's fireworks thing. Last year's kicked ass but this year.. eh.. it could have been better BUT what made it up was that the fireworks was blown over Rt46 or the Turnpike still lit. Now, it's been dry here for some time and leaves are rather.. well.. easily kindled. Sure enough, we (my friends and I) were commenting how the lit fireworks that's landing will set something on fire. Yep.. even before the fireworks ended you can see black smoke behind the show and Emergency lights everywhere. After the fireworks, you can clearly see fire... a relatively big one at that since i was about 200 yards away and i CAN see the flames. Of course, after the fireworks, all the firetrucks there rushed to the fire. I didn't go out to see what cought on fire; too much traffic.
